Job summary

ZAD is a Kuwait-based financial services group seeking a Finance professional to extend the maker-checker process to financial reporting. The role reports to Senior Finance Officer and Manager/Controller in Kuwait.

Key duties include month/quarterly management accounts, CMA/regulatory schedules, and consolidated Kuwait+UAE group accounts. Requires IFRS, ERP experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Four to five years in financial and statutory reporting.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience on ERP or accounting system such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP.
• Advanced Excel.
• Experience gained in an accounting or auditing firm.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash position, variance analysis).
• Preparing supporting schedules for CMA/regulatory filings and audit requests.
• Verifying report figures tie back to the ledger and reconciliations.
• Supporting the external audit process.
• Cross-training as backup for the Bookkeeper/Accountant.
• Preparing consolidated Kuwait + UAE group accounts.
