Job summary

Veolia, a leader in resource management, is hiring a Field Technician (Instrument) for the Sulaibiya Waste Water Treatment & Reclamation Plant in Kuwait. The selected candidate will engage in maintenance tasks, support troubleshooting, and execute preventative procedures to ensure optimal instrument performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years work experience with at least 2 years in maintenance work, preferably in water/wastewater treatment.
• Capable of understanding P&ID, Instrument loop diagrams, and JB & control panel wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance tasks of all instruments.
• Support senior technicians in troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Help in replacing and installing specified parts and making required adjustments.
• Participate in training programs to develop technical skills.

Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Good knowledge of the concept of Automation

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to repair/calibrate all online process instruments

Proficient in basic MS-OFFICE applications

Strong commitment to safety and quality

Education

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control discipline or ITI in Instrumentation or Instrument trade certificate
