Job summary

V2X seeks a Facilities Maintenance & Repair Supervisor to manage daily operations at the Main Communications Facility in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. You will guide maintenance staff, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with the PWS for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and security systems.

Responsibilities include scheduling, life/safety training, record-keeping, and reporting. U.S. citizenship and a security clearance are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years facilities maintenance experience with 3–5 years with Metasys BMS.
• 5–7 years electrical distribution experience per NEC.
• Strong knowledge in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
• reads blueprints & diagrams; supports safety guidelines.

Manage the daily maintenance operations of the Main Communications Facility (MCF) in support of the LCV contract on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The Facility Maintenance & Repair Supervisor provides technical/operational guidance and supervision of to teammates and Subcontract personnel as required to ensure compliance with the performance work statement (PWS) for the following functions: operation and maintenance, infrastructure, utilities, and preventive/corrective maintenance. Support capabilities include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, access control/CCTV, power generation, and fire detection/suppression.

• Support the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager with the following: subcontractor oversight; human resources; create a positive environment that is fair, inclusive and ethical; inspire and motivate employees by recognizing achievement; counsel, coach and mentor.
• Provide technical/operational guidance to ensure compliance with the PWS while delivering results.
• Conducts and oversees the preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Evaluates all maintenance requests, sets priorities, and process work assignments.
• Monitors all operations of the Facilities Maintenance staff. Prepares daily and monthly work schedules for the staff.
• Maintains all maintenance records.
• Conducts training on life, safety, health and other programs.
• Provides reports on all life, safety, health, quality, and maintenance issues
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience:
  • 7-10 years of facilities maintenance experience with 3-5 years working with Johnson Controls Metasys Building Management Systems
  • 5-7 years of experience planning, laying out, and installing electrical distribution in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems including secondary distribution and interior systems
  • Hands-on experience with electrical circuits, power cables, controls, motor, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints, single-line diagrams, and rough shop drawings
  • Must possess strong knowledge in a skilled trade (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
  • Requires ability to analyze the operation of various infrastructure systems, determine the cause of problems/malfunctions, and take corrective actions as required
  • Knowledge of U.S. Army Safety Guidelines and OSHA Standards.

• Working Conditions:
