Job summary

India Abroad invites an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen in Al-Kuwait. You will design menus, maintain high quality and presentation, and drive culinary innovation.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, upscale setting. The ideal candidate has proven Head Chef experience, deep knowledge of modern cuisine, food safety compliance, and excellent English communication skills to supervise staff and collaborate with management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or similar in a high-end restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients, current food trends.
• Strong leadership to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and design menus that reflect the restaurant's vision and concept.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to high quality standards and presented attractively.
• Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and evaluations.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment at all times.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to plan events or promotions.
