Job summary

Action Energy Company in Kuwait seeks a SCADA Technician to support the ESP team, handling data transfer from wellsite to control room for optimization, monitoring, and remote control.

You will perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of SCADA systems, monitor multiple wells, ensure data integrity and 99% uptime, and adhere to HSE standards across field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in instrumentation/SCADA; Kuwaiti candidates with 1 year preferred
• Experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of field SCADA systems

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, startup, shutdown, surveillance, monitoring, maintenance and calibration of SCADA systems
• Summaries of daily field activities including maintenance, installation, commissioning, or decommissioning operations
• Monitor total wells under the SCADA system and count wells in operation vs shutdown
• Maintain communication network health for RTUs, transmitters, and VSDs
• Identify abnormal operating conditions and provide recommendations for production optimization and downtime avoidance
• Prepare SCADA-related reports on installations, decommissions, field issues and data anomalies
• Ensure SCADA system uptime and communicate around data integrity and missing/frozen data as required by projects
