EH&S Specialist is responsible for monitoring and providing technical support to an assigned area of the program. Specialist will evaluate work sites to ensure operations are in compliance with Federal, State, and local requirements, provide technical support to area supervisors/managers in corrective actions for compliance deficiencies, conduct observations, conduct program evaluations, and perform root cause analysis (RCA). Specialist will develop training packages and instruct training packages. Specialist will be required to operate monitoring equipment and conduct specialized testing of physical, chemical, and environmental stressors. Specialist will write technical reports and will interact with the middle management team.

Implements a standardized ESH program, which is Management System based.
Performs risk analysis, develops programs that exceed basic regulatory compliance, identifies needed resources (such as personal protective equipment) and budget for resources, identifies required training for employees in various operations, performs and documents training, documents and submits monthly performance metrics, performs ESH inspections, and implements employee reward and recognition program.
