Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V in Kuwait City is seeking an Environmental Engineer for a full-time, on-site role within a major EPC project. The successful candidate will conduct environmental inspections and audits, maintain audit schedules, and ensure compliance with environmental requirements across project sites.

The ideal candidate has a four-year engineering degree (preferably Environmental/Chemical), at least five years of industry experience, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering, preferably Chemical or Environmental Engineering; ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor preferred.
• Additional HSE trainings/certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum of five years of environmental experience in core industries like refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel plants, or heavy chemicals; marine experience is required.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts environmental inspections and audits on on-site facilities.
• Maintains a project audit schedule and reports.
• Maintains records as required by environmental requirements.
• Troubleshooting, advice and assistance related to project environmental issues.
• Reports environmental incidents to the client within required timeframes and recommends corrective measures.
• Organizes and evaluates drills for environmental emergencies and recommends improvements.
• Develops presentations to raise environmental awareness among site staff.
• Assists in developing environmental project documents, plans and procedures.
• Supports the Environmental Manager and/or HSE Manager in daily operations.

What you will need to do:

• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

• Four-year full-time Degree in Bachelor of Science in engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor (preferable)
