Job summary

American International University (AIU) in Kuwait seeks a Director for the Office of Faculty Affairs to lead faculty career development, governance, and policy initiatives. Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent required for leadership in faculty affairs.
• Qualified for appointment at or above Assistant Professor; senior ranks preferred.
• Significant experience in higher education administration and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for Faculty Affairs and career development.
• Lead collaboration with Human Resources and other university units.
• Promote transparent governance, accreditation preparation, and faculty engagement.
• Oversee policies on faculty promotion, evaluation, mentoring, and development.
• Prepare reports, papers, and institutional analyses for leadership.
