Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Kuwait is seeking a Delivery Captain to ensure safe, timely last-mile deliveries to wholesale and retail outlets. You will inspect orders, load and unload, and follow routes to maximize efficiency while protecting goods.

The role includes cash collection for COD/ecommerce, returns processing, and strict adherence to safety and ISO standards; you will report incidents and maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Daily deliveries to wholesale and retail outlets
• Check orders before delivery
• Collect returns to warehouse as assigned
• Cash collection from COD ecommerce customers
• Collection of payments using credit card machine for COD ecommerce
• Complete shop-to-shop transfers
• Collect necessary documents from shops during returns
• Report incidents of misplaced or lost packages to Logistics Distribution Department
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections
• Adhere to safety regulations and ISO quality/health standards

The Delivery Captain is responsible for delivering the customer orders and collec ng the returns with care and on merely basis You will be responsible for the safe delivery of goods within your appointed region Your du es will involve ensuring goods are safely secured your vehicle is in good condi on loading and unloading the vehicle and taking the quickest route to your des na on Job discre on Daily Deliveries to Wholesale Retail Outlets Last mile customer delivery Checking the orders before delivery Collec ng Returns to warehouse as assigned Collec on of orders from shops for last mile Collec on of cash from ecom COD customer and handover as per procedure Collec on of payment using credit card machine for COD ecom Customers Complete all process in Fareye Shop-To-Shop Transfers Collec ng the necessary documents from shops during return Report all incidents occasions of misplaced or lost packages to Logis cs Distribu on Department Comply strictly with route and schedule as assigned Perform daily vehicle inspec ons and minor maintenance tasks when necessary Report all maintenance issues Keep the assigned vehicles clean inside and out Ensure that the company vehicle assigned is used exclusively for company business only Report any accidents at first possible instant Strict adherence to all traffic and road safety regula ons Receive or route all opera ng instruc ons via the Logis cs Distribu on Department To work within promote and iden fy improvements in company s Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 standards Immediately report any breach in procedures company policy or security to supervisor management Strictly follow develop and improve standard processes procedures and work instruc ons Also promote adherence to procedures by your staff Report all incidents of any nature and however caused to their immediate superior comple ng all necessary documenta on promptly and accurately Always research to improve all warehouse opera ons according to company s objec ves Ensure that workplace health safety amp environment requirements as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
