Job summary

InterContinental Kuwait Al Thuraya City is seeking a dedicated culinary team member to prepare memorable meals for guests, maintain kitchen efficiency, and uphold hygiene standards in a busy hotel environment.

You will follow safety procedures, assist with dishwashing, manage basic kitchen duties, and contribute to guest satisfaction by providing food quality and friendly service. This is a full-time role within the InterContinental Kuwait Al Thuraya City kitchen team in Kuwait City.

Responsibilities

• Turn high standards into memorable meals for every guest with your own signature flare.
• Manage kitchen supplies and equipment while minimizing waste.
• Report any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents to the supervisor or duty manager.
• Follow safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.
• Meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.
• Provide advice and answer queries to enhance the guest experience.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the team.
