Job summary

Unknown company in Kuwait is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to supervise civil construction activities and ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The role requires handling shop drawings, BOQ, measurements, and site inspections with a strong focus on quality and HSE.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering qualification with at least 3 years of hands-on site experience and excellent coordination and reporting skills. Kuwait City-based site with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant site experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction and site activities.
• Read/interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, BOQ and quantities.
• Conduct site measurements, setting-out, leveling, inspections.
• Monitor excavation, foundations, RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing.
• Supervise reinforcement steel, formwork, and concrete works.
• Check reinforcement detailing and concrete grades.
• Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, consultants.
• Ensure work follows drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Inspect materials; ensure storage and usage.
• Identify issues and provide technical solutions.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and docs.
• Assist with estimation, costing, BOQ prep.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
