Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs is seeking a Civil Draftsman to prepare detailed civil structural and architectural drawings based on specifications and site requirements. You will develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, sections, and layouts for construction projects in Kuwait City.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Civil Drafting, with at least 3 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Civil Draftsman.
• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, building, or civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings including plans, elevations, sections, layouts and construction drawings.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, road layouts, drainage layouts and utility drawings.
• Prepare structural drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases and RCC structures.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings and bar detailing; create Bar Bending Schedule when required.
• Develop formwork/shuttering drawings and concrete details; prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Incorporate revisions based on engineer/consultant/client comments and maintain drawing registers.

Job description

Prepare detailed civil structural architectural and construction drawings based on engineering specifications and site requirements Develop and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD Prepare plans elevations sections details layouts and construction drawings Prepare site layouts grading plans road layouts drainage layouts utility layouts and infrastructure drawings Prepare structural drawings for Foundations and footings Columns and beams Slabs Staircases Retaining walls RCC structures Structural steel works Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings and bar detailing as per engineer s design Prepare Bar Bending Schedule BBS when required Develop formwork shuttering drawings and concrete details Prepare shop drawings as-built drawings and construction details Incorporate revisions based on engineer consultant and client comments Ensure drawings are prepared according to approved specifications and project standards Coordinate drawings with Civil Structural MEP Architectural and Site Engineering teams Review drawings for dimensions levels quantities annotations and technical accuracy Conduct site visits and update drawings based on actual site conditions Prepare as-built drawings based on completed site works Maintain proper drawing registers revisions and document control Assist engineers with BOQ quantity take-off material requirements and project documentation Coordinate with contractors consultants surveyors and site supervisors to resolve drawing-related issues

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Civil Drafting / Architectural or related field. Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as a Civil Draftsman. Strong hands‑on experience with AutoCAD. Experience in construction, infrastructure, building, or civil engineering projects. Ability to work from engineering sketches, specifications, survey data, and site measurements. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong coordination and communication skills. GCC/Kuwait experience will be an advantage. Ability to work under project deadlines and coordinate with site teams.
