Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to ensure food quality from raw materials to finished dishes. You will manage stock rotation, maintain hygiene, and prepare Mise en Place according to the production plan.

You will assist the Chef de Partie in developing new dishes and aligning with current menus, while keeping areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies. You’ll also support other food production areas as needed and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Adheres to high hygiene and safety standards.
• Keeps Mise en Place prepared according to production plan.
• Rotates stocks to minimize spoilage and maintain quality.
• Assists in creating and updating dishes by following market trends and menus.

Responsibilities

• Checks quality of raw materials, storage, handling and usage.
• Maintains highest hygiene in food preparation and workstation.
• Keeps Chef de Partie informed of issues and staff-related matters.
• Ensures Mise en Place is ready and properly rotated.
• Assists in other production areas as needed and follows safety policies.
