BIM Engineer: Revit + Navisworks for ICT/ELV Coordination

Job summary

HR Mind in Kuwait is seeking a BIM Engineer (Revit/ELV) with 4+ years of experience to develop ICT/ELV drawings and 3D models for commercial buildings. You will ensure clash-free designs and support workshops with architects and engineers.

Coordinate with Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical disciplines, perform Navisworks clash detection, and create new Revit elements while maintaining CAD/BIM standards and drawing manuals for project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing drawings for ICT / Electrical / ELV systems for commercial buildings.
• Hands-on experience with Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of BIM Level of Development (LOD) stages.
• Knowledge of BSI PAS 1192-2:2013 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop ICT system design, construction/shop drawings and as-built drawings using Revit.
• Prepare coordinated ICT/ELV service drawings based on inputs from System Architects and Engineers.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical and other disciplines to ensure clash-free drawings.
• Support System Architects during client/engineer workshops and assist in responding to technical queries.
• Develop drawings based on inputs from ICT System Engineers and Architects.
• Prepare drawings in accordance with project CAD/BIM standards and drawing manuals.
• Assist with design calculations, quantity take-offs and system-wise quantity estimation.
• Create new 3D Revit elements/families as required.
• Perform clash analysis of ICT solutions with other disciplines.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
