Job summary

Metavox International is seeking an experienced Audio Visual & Low Voltage Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and deliver AV and ELV/low-voltage projects from planning through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

You will review project drawings, BoQs and specifications, lead site teams, and communicate with consultants, contractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery within budget while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in AV/ELV or low-voltage project engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Kuwait experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute AV and ELV/low-voltage projects per approved schedules.
• Review drawings, BoQs, specs and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, suppliers and site teams.
• Supervise installation of AV/ELV systems and related equipment.
• Test, commission, troubleshoot, and integrate systems.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection requests and handover documents.
• Ensure projects finish on time and within budget.

Job description

Plan manage and execute AV and low-voltage projects according to approved schedules and specifications Review project drawings BOQs technical specifications and shop drawings Coordinate with consultants contractors clients suppliers and site teams Supervise installation of AV structured cabling digital signage video walls audio systems projectors control systems and other ELV systems Prepare project schedules material requirements method statements and technical documentation Monitor site progress quality manpower materials and project timelines Conduct testing commissioning troubleshooting and system integration Ensure installations comply with project specifications safety requirements and industry standards Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for equipment and materials Prepare progress reports inspection requests testing reports and handover documents Identify technical issues and provide effective solutions during project execution Ensure projects are completed on time and within the approved budget Lead and coordinate technicians and subcontractors at project sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree Diploma in Electrical Electronics Electronics Communication or a related engineering field
• 2 years of experience
• in AV ELV or low-voltage project engineering
• Strong knowledge of AV systems structured cabling digital signage audio systems display systems and control systems
• Experience with project coordination site supervision testing and commissioning
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• Good communication coordination and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of strong AutoCAD strong and MS Office is preferred
• Kuwait experience is an advantage
• Valid Kuwait driving license is preferred
