Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Guest Experience team member in Kuwait City to craft luxury coffee experiences. You will prepare premium beverages, share knowledge on origins and brewing, and maintain a boutique service atmosphere aligned with the brand.

Ensure cleanliness, inventory, and smooth shift transitions in a high-end hotel setting. Role emphasizes engaging guest interaction, collaboration with F&B, Guest Relations, and culinary teams, and contributing to seasonal beverage

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a full range of specialty coffees, teas, mocktails, and luxury café beverages to brand standards.
• Provide engaging, intuitive, and personalized service that anticipates guest needs.
• Share product knowledge—beans, brewing methods, origins—to elevate the guest’s experience.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the hotel’s luxury identity and service culture.
• Operate coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and POS systems with accuracy and care.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently and presented elegantly.
• Maintain par levels of supplies (coffee, milk alternatives, syrups, pastries, china, etc.).
• Follow opening, closing, and shift-change procedures efficiently.
• Adhere to IHG and brand-specific service guidelines and luxury service cues.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with local regulations and hotel policies.
• Ensure all work areas, display cases, and equipment remain clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Assist in menu refinement, specialty drink development, and seasonal offerings.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team, Guest Relations, and culinary departments to ensure seamless service.
• Communicate guest preferences or feedback to management to enhance service quality.
• Support the team during peak service times and contribute to a positive, professional working environment.
