InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuwait seeks a hospitality professional to support food and beverage service operations. You will assist with setting up outlets, coordinating with restaurant managers, and maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.
The role requires at least two years in hotel and restaurant operations, a university degree preferred, and excellent English communication.
Assist with the preparation of functions and service
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Comply with Time and Attendance Policies
Assist with the preparation of an outlet for service including
To assist the Restaurant Managers with the delivery of F&B service in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
Communicates with the Outlet/Restaurant Manager any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information.
Interacts with guests in each of the outlets to solicit comments.
Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development
Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers
Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including:
Mise-en Place and Food Preparation
Assist with receiving and storage of goods
Clean and maintain equipment and premises
Maintain hygienic standards and procedures
Assist with cellar operations
Mini Bar duties including:
Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook
Comply with Company Grooming Standards
Preferably with a University degree
At least two years in Hotel & Restaurants capacity
Excellent English skill, both oral and written
Presentable and a team player
