Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuwait City seeks a Guest Experience Attendant to deliver luxury café service. You will prepare and serve coffees, teas, mocktails, and premium beverages to brand standards.

You will operate espresso equipment, manage par levels, uphold hygiene, and collaborate with Food & Beverage, Guest Relations, and culinary teams to ensure seamless, guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a full range of specialty coffees, teas, mocktails, and luxury café beverages to brand standards.
• Provide engaging, intuitive, and personalized service that anticipates guest needs.
• Share product knowledge—beans, brewing methods, origins—to elevate the guest’s experience.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the hotel’s luxury identity and service culture.
• Operate coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and POS systems with accuracy and care.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently and presented elegantly.
• Maintain par levels of supplies (coffee, milk alternatives, syrups, pastries, china, etc.).
• Follow opening, closing, and shift-change procedures efficiently.
• Adhere to IHG and brand-specific service guidelines and luxury service cues.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with local regulations and hotel policies.
• Ensure all work areas, display cases, and equipment remain clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Assist in menu refinement, specialty drink development, and seasonal offerings.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team, Guest Relations, and culinary departments to ensure seamless service.
• Communicate guest preferences or feedback to management to enhance service quality.
• Support the team during peak service times and contribute to a positive, professional working environment.
