Job summary

Al Tayer Group’s retail division, Al Tayer Insignia, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to supervise receipt, storage and inventory movement across the retail business. Organize accurate picking, packing and facilitate timely delivery to stores and customers.

The role requires 2–3 years in retail logistics, knowledge of material receiving, storage and WMS, and the ability to work with minimal guidance while maintaining high accuracy and HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience within retail logistics or warehouse operations.
• A relevant vocational qualification would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of material receiving, storage and handling.
• Working knowledge of WMS and Ecommerce fulfillment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving of all shipments into the warehouse against procurement records; ensure order accuracy and reporting of inconsistencies or damages in a timely manner.
• Manage quality check activities; ensure items are properly tagged; organize storage safely to avoid damage or loss.
• Submit Good Receipt Notes (GRN) to Finance for supplier invoice matching and payments.
• Supervise timely discrepancy/damage reporting and escalations.
• Arrange picking, quality check and packing of items based on store and customer orders; coordinate with last mile team for deliveries.
• Monitor daily SLA for inbound and outbound operations to meet timelines.
• Manage Salesforce tickets; ensure timely responses to warehouse cases.
• Handle store and customer returns; ensure actions are taken within SLA timelines.
• Manage shifts and ensure targets are met daily.
• Track productivity and ensure warehouse assistants KPIs are met.
• Support supervisors in shift planning and staff allocations.
• Review operational processes for risk; escalate risks to site HSE committee.
• Guide and motivate subordinates; develop for higher roles.
• Maintain HSE practices to minimize damages and injuries.

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving of all shipments into the warehouse against procurement records. Ensure order accuracy andreporting of any inconsistencies or damages in a timely manner.
• Manage the quality check activities and ensure every item is properly tagged. Organize storage in a safe and secured manner to avoid any possibilities of damage or loss due to improper handling.
• Ensure timely submission of Good Receipt Note (GRN) to Finance for supplier invoice matching and payments.
• Supervise timely discrepancy/damage reporting and escalations as required.
• Arrange picking, quality check and packing of items based on store and customer orders. Coordinate with last mile team for deliveries.
• Daily SLA monitoring for both inbound, outbound operations and ensure the daily SLA timelines are met without exception.
• Manage the Sales force tickets and ensure timely response is given to all the cases assigned to the warehouse.
• Handle the store and customer returns and ensure necessary actions are done withing stipulated SLA timelines.
• Manage the shifts and ensure the shift targets are achieved on daily basis.
• Track and maintain records of user productivities and ensure the warehouse assistants KPI’s are met.
• Support warehouse supervisors in shift, ROTA planning and staff allocations.
• Review Operational processes from a risk management perspective; identify and qualify new areas of risks and escalations concerns to the site HSE committee.
• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.
• Maintain HSE practices in the working environment in order to minimize the opportunity of damage property and injury to self and colleagues. Pro-actively remind colleagues to behave in line with the HSE processes defined by the company.

Qualifications

Education/Certification and Continued Education

• A relevant vocational qualification would be an advantage.

Years of Experience

• 2-3 years experience within retail logistics or warehouse operations.

Knowledge and Skills

• Good knowledge of material receiving, storage and handling gained through formal trainings or work experience.
• Working knowledge in any WMS and Ecommerce fulfillment knowledge is preferred.
• Process driven, Excellent attention to detail and who Can work with minimal guidance.
