Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuwait seeks a Senior Sales Leader to drive the hotel’s strategic sales plan across corporate, MICE, leisure and groups, while cultivating key accounts and VIP relationships.

You will lead a small sales team, coordinate with Marketing, Revenue and Front Office, and represent the property at trade shows to deliver elegance and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel’s strategic sales plan across corporate, MICE, leisure and groups.
• Identify, acquire, and manage key accounts; nurture long-term relationships with VIP clients, event organizers and travel partners.
• Entertain and host high-profile clients to demonstrate the hotel’s offerings and standards of excellence.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue and Front Office to align sales strategies with branding and guest experience goals.
• Conduct site inspections, FAM trips, client events and on-property sales meetings with professionalism.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to adjust tactics and stay ahead of the competition.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of sales managers and coordinators; foster a culture of performance and luxury service.
• Represent the hotel at local and international trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Prepare accurate forecasts, reports and performance metrics as required by the Director of Sales and Executive Committee.
• Ensure all client interactions reflect the standards of elegance and excellence that define the hotel.
