Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks a CDP Baker/Demi-CDP Baker to lead bakery production across luxury dining venues in Kuwait. You will oversee daily operations, maintain HACCP standards, and coach a diverse kitchen team to deliver artisanal breads.

You will manage recipe scaling, yield, and food cost, coordinate with central stores, and ensure consistency with the brand's culinary standards while upholding impeccable grooming and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as CDP Baker or Demi-CDP Baker in upscale hospitality.
• Leadership: Strong supervisory and communication skills in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen.
• Skills: Recipe scaling, yield management, food costing, and basic kitchen software.

Responsibilities

• Operations: Ensures smooth bakery production daily per policies and luxury standards.
• Leadership: Directs and coaches all direct reports and evaluates performance.
• Quality Control: Maintains artisanal quality of bread across dining outlets.
• Cost Management: Forecasts production and tracks inventories to reduce waste.
• Compliance: Adheres to HACCP and local health/safety regulations daily.
• Supply Chain: Orders and tracks raw ingredients from central stores.
• Consistency: Keeps recipes and yields aligned with brand standards.
• Team Management: Manages schedules, attendance, grooming, and uniforms.
