Job summary
Red 6 is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer to join our team in Louisville, CO. This leadership role focuses on hardware architecture with a strong software understanding, guiding critical design decisions and system trades across cross-functional teams.
You will translate customer requirements into concrete system specifications, collaborate with government customers, and help shape internal technical roadmaps to keep Red 6 at the forefront of AR and defense-focused innovation.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of system engineering, hardware design and leadership in defense/aerospace.
- Proven system architecture design for hardware/software integration.
- Lead cross-functional teams and drive complex technical decisions.
- Ability to ensure subsystem specs meet overall product requirements.
- Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
