Qualifications
- DDS/DMD degree with advanced training in Dental Anesthesiology preferred or MD/DO with dental anesthesiology training.
- Board eligibility or board certification from the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology or American Board of Anesthesiology.
- Eligibility for dental or medical licensure with anesthesia permit in Pennsylvania; PA licensure preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and didactic instruction to residents and dental students in anesthesiology and sedation.
- Deliver expert anesthetic and sedation management for patients with special health care needs.
- Advance educational initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration in the sedation/anesthesia programs.
