The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Anesthesiology at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Academic Clinician track.

We seek an enthusiastic anesthesiologist to join our collaborative academic community and lead clinical and didactic instruction for postgraduate periodontal and pediatric dentistry residents as well as dental students.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD with certificate of advanced training in Dental Anesthesiology preferred.
• MD or DO with dental anesthesiology training acceptable.
• Board eligibility or board certification from the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology or American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Eligibility for dental or medical licensure with anesthesia permit in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with anesthetic management of patients with special health care needs.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality clinical and didactic instruction to residents and dental students in anesthesiology and sedation.
• Deliver expert anesthetic and sedation management for patients with special health care needs.
• Contribute to educational initiatives and collaboration to advance sedation and anesthesia programs.
