People Technology And Processes is seeking an Assistant IT Support Lead to bolster Fort Bragg-based IT security operations in Fayetteville, NC. The role emphasizes RMF/ATO support, vulnerability scanning, and secure system design within a DoD context.

The ideal candidate holds a IT/Cybersecurity degree (or related), an intermediate/advanced certification (CISSP/CISM), and 5+ years of relevant DoD RMF experience. Strong documentation, collaboration, and incident response skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelors in IT/Cybersecurity or related field, or an equivalent combo.
Active certification at intermediate/advanced level (CISSP or CISM) required.
5+ years in IT/Cybersecurity with DoD RMF experience is preferred.
Experience developing and maintaining RMF artifacts and packages.
Know RMF/DIACAP style security controls and continuous monitoring.
Familiar with NIST, FISMA, PCI DSS and secure system design.

Responsibilities

Support cybersecurity operations and ensure DoD/SOMTC security alignment.
Assist RMF/ATO activities including documentation and package submission.
Conduct vulnerability scans, coordinate remediation and monitoring.
Support system hardening, CM, and security architecture planning.
Contribute to incident response and ensure timely reporting.
Maintain RMF artifacts, audit materials, and compliance docs.
Collaborate with sysadmins, network engineers, and mission teams for secure IT ops.
