Job summary

Wood County Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Rad Tech II for its Radiology department. This per diem position involves patient positioning, operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring radiologic safety to develop high-quality images.

The ideal candidate will operate equipment as directed and follow safety standards during procedures. A graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program and current Ohio Radiology Licensure are required.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
Current Ohio Radiology Licensure.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
BLS within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Properly positions and transfers patients.
Select and operate radiographic equipment and technical factors.
Follows prescribed safety standards and protocols.
Develops high-quality radiographs through various processes.
Works effectively with other personnel and provides instruction.
