The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Cardiologist Physician to join the Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS) - Leavenworth campus on a full-time basis.
The role delivers comprehensive cardiovascular care to a diverse Veteran population and supports inpatient and outpatient services. The Cardiologist will take patient histories, perform examinations, order diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with other clinicians to meet VA standards and patient
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive cardiovascular care to a diverse Veteran population.
- Obtains relevant health and medical history.
- Performs examinations and orders diagnostic tests as indicated.
- Formulates differential diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Coordinates inpatient and outpatient care within the EKHCS-Leavenworth setting.
- Participates in consultations/referrals as needed.
