Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school.
• 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, read, and written).
• Knowledge of medical procedures and ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Directly performs or orders diagnostic studies and interprets results.
• Develops and implements long and short range treatment plans.
• Performs procedures: injections, immunizations, skin biopsies, suturing, wound care.
• Writes orders to adjust medications subject to physician sign-off.
• Initiates consultations and coordinates scheduling for special tests.
• Instructs patients and families regarding preventive care and treatments.
• Liaises with governmental agencies and assists with research projects.
• Maintains compliance with policies, safety, and accreditation requirements.
• Participates in in-service education and professional associations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
