Responsibilities

• Perform or order diagnostic studies and interpret results.
• Develop and implement long and short-term treatment plans.
• Perform procedures such as obtaining specimens and injections.
• Counsel and instruct patients and families on care.
• Act as a liaison with governmental agencies and assist with medical research.
