Job summary
City of Hope in Irvine, CA seeks a full-time non-invasive cardiologist to deliver clinical cardio-oncology care and advanced imaging at a single-site Irvine campus. The physician will balance inpatient and outpatient duties, spend time on imaging, and participate in teaching and research within a leading cancer center.
The role emphasizes echocardiography, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and ongoing clinical service expansion.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree and California medical license required.
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine (ABIM) preferred or required.
- Experience in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging and clinical cardio-oncology is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-invasive cardiovascular care at Irvine campus.
- Perform echocardiograms and related imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
- Balance inpatient, outpatient, and imaging duties with academic responsibilities.
- Participate in teaching and supervising residents/fellows.
- Maintain active involvement in clinical quality and research activities.
