Job summary

City of Hope in Irvine, California, seeks a full-time Dermatologist to join the Department of Surgery, Division of Dermatology. You will lead clinical excellence and drive innovations in cancer-related dermatology at our Irvine practice.

The candidate should have an MD/MD-PhD with board eligibility and hold or be eligible for a California medical license, plus a track record in clinical research and publications within an academic cancer center.

Qualifications

MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree; board certified/eligible in Dermatology.
Active California medical license or eligible.
Experience in academic medical center or specialty cancer center with clinical and translational research.
Demonstrated research activity with publications or presentations.
Appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor or higher.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and clinical excellence in the Dermatology Program in Irvine.
Oversee an expanding portfolio, including graft vs. host disease (GvHD).
Treatment of early stage cutaneous malignancies and cutaneous complications of chemo and biologic therapies.
Oversee a program of research and treatment of cutaneous complications of cancer therapy.
