We are seeking a flexible and adaptable individual who can hit the ground running, while also being willing and able to expand their knowledge to cover more of Palo Alto Networks' product stack, both inside and outside of Palo Alto Cortex.

Tasks

• Assist customers with their Incident Response efforts by leveraging XSOAR (formerly Demisto) for Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR).
• Learn and understand the customer’s business requirements and threat landscape relevant to their industry sector.
• Lead XSOAR technical implementation and operations within a customer environment, including Playbook design, development, implementation, and optimization.
• Interact with security and IT technologies related to the customer environment.
• Communicate effectively in crisis situations with all organizational levels, from Engineering/Operations to CIO/CISO.
• Create documentation for Incident Response Plans, system integrations, and XSOAR playbooks.
• Refine and translate complex requirements into best practice solutions.
• Lead teams and develop plans and roadmaps to achieve customer security operations (SecOps) goals.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience managing complex security solutions in large environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux or Unix, network troubleshooting, and current security threats.
• Experience in cybersecurity incident response.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, protocols, and applications.
• Technical experience in installing, configuring, and operating high-end security solutions.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and technologies is preferred.
• Security Operations experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications such as GCIA, GCFE, GCIH, CISSP, and/or DevOps are preferred.
