A technology solutions leader is seeking a Wireless Protocol Integration Engineer in Milan, Italy. This role bridges R&D protocol development with system validation, focusing on integrating and validating 5G and pre-6G features. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in 3GPP LTE/NR protocols and Linux OS, along with proficient Python scripting skills. Experience in multi-site environments and technical communication in English are essential. Join a team at the forefront of technological innovation.

Competenze

Strong expertise in 3GPP LTE / NR protocols.
Knowledge of Linux OS.
Proficiency in Python scripting.
Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
Experience working in a multi-site environment.

Experience with CI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and/or cloud-based environments preferred.

Mansioni

Work closely with R&D 3GPP Protocol Development teams to integrate 5G and pre‑6G features.
Support UE and base station emulation.
Contribute to pre‑6G standards, following 3GPP evolution.
Target, configure, and maintain host and test environments.
Collaborate with R&D teams to align on feature implementation.
Design, build, and execute tests to validate protocol features.
