Mission: Support the restaurant team in delivering accurate and courteous service, following Meliá quality standards. The intern will contribute to the correct presentation of food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction while learning how to anticipate expectations and provide memorable dining experiences.

What will you be doing?
  • Welcome guests and assist them with menu choices, communicating clearly and positively.
  • Learn and follow service procedures according to hotel standards.
  • Present dishes and beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Anticipate guest needs and contribute to exceeding expectations.
  • Support the team with order taking and food & beverage service.
  • Assist in table setup, clearing, and resetting between courses.
  • Observe the dining experience and escalate guest requests to senior staff when needed.
What are we looking for?
  • Fluent in Italian; good command of English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Formation related to Hospitality or Tourism will be highly valuated.
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Genuine interest in hospitality and restaurant service
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for customer service and willingness to grow professionally
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and availability to work on shifts.
