agap2 Italia is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist / Application Security Engineer with hands-on Akamai WAF expertise for a fully remote role. You will work with international security teams and take ownership of WAF configuration and policy tuning.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in cybersecurity or application security, solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10, and excellent English communication to collaborate daily in a global environment.
Competenze
- 3+ years in Cybersecurity or Application Security.
- Hands-on experience with Akamai WAF.
- Strong knowledge of Web Application Security.
- Familiar with OWASP Top 10.
- Experience in WAF policy management and tuning.
- Experience in security analysis and troubleshooting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Mansioni
- Manage and configure Akamai WAF solutions.
- Define, implement and tune security policies.
- Analyze false positives, anomalies and events.
- Protect web apps and APIs from threats.
- Monitor and troubleshoot WAF issues.
- Assist in web vulnerability analysis and risks.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infra, Dev and App teams.
- Help manage security rules and protection mechanisms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of web app security controls.
