State Street is seeking a Compliance Manager – Vice President to oversee advisory compliance for the custody business across Italy and SSBI branches. The role sits within Advisory Compliance and requires leadership in regulatory risk management, policy development, and cross-border coordination within the EU and beyond.

The successful candidate will deliver the Compliance Program, advise on product regulatory matters, and engage with regulators while guiding business units through evolving rules

Competenze

• Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in financial services, preferably within a compliance function.
• Strong understanding of policies, procedures and controls.
• Good regulatory understanding (especially custody, depository regulation and EU implementation).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team-working skills.

Mansioni

• Deliver the advisory Compliance Program for the business unit in scope.
• Conduct regulatory requirements analysis across the Target Operating Model and support timely oversight.
• Provide regulatory advice for the product suite across the EU and overseas jurisdictions.
• Review and assess impact of new regulations and implement changes to comply with them.
• Prepare for regulatory and third-party examinations and lead supervisory dialogue with authorities.
• Assist in drafting and maintaining policies and procedures and provide training.
• Collaborate with the broader Compliance team and participate in initiative reviews.
