Job summary

Panerai, based in Milano, seeks a Visual Merchandising Intern to support VM project managers across POSM, window animations and VM tools. Responsibilities include purchasing, planning, stock analysis, forecasting, and order optimization.

You will coordinate with suppliers and markets to define needs, update databases, and ensure procurement compliance, while developing reports to measure impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Eligibility for curricular internship.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; French is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• High level of reliability and a professional work ethic.
• Genuine interest in purchasing, planning, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Visual Merchandising POSM, stock and create action plans under team guidance.
• Collect orders for POSM, window animations and VM tools worldwide.
• Analyze consumption to prevent overstocking and optimize orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage tender processes and on-time deliveries.
• Collaborate with teams to handle windows animations: collect orders, prototyping, production, and logistics.
• Update the main façade database and ensure markets keep it current.
• Maintain SAP Purchasing orders, references and supplier records.
• Support the creation of VM guidelines for POSM and window animations.
• Develop reports and presentations, including surveys to measure satisfaction and animation effectiveness.

Job description

As our next Visual Merchandising Intern, you will support VM project managers across various initiatives, including Point of Sale Material (POSM), window animations, and special VM tools. Your responsibilities will encompass managing POSM and gift material operations, covering purchasing, planning, stock analysis, forecasting, and order optimization. You will also handle window animation orders, from collection and prototyping to production, logistics, and database management. This role involves coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure project completion, as well as liaising with markets to define their specific needs, logistical requirements, and to ensure procurement and compliance.

Your impact

• Analyze Visual Merchandising Point of Sale Material (POSM), stock (central and local) and creating action plans under the guidance of the team.
• Collect orders Point of Sale Material (POSM), windows animations and special VM tools at a worldwide level.
• Analyze worldwide consumption to prevent overstocking, running out of stock, and right-sizing orders.

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage tender processes and ensure on-time deliveries for Point of Sale Material (POSM), windows animations and special VM tools, adhering to production schedules.

• Collaborate with internal team members to handle windows animations: collect orders from markets, handle prototyping and production with suppliers, handle the logistics with local markets and suppliers.

• Update the main façade database and have it updated by markets at each new windows animation.

• Maintain SAP Purchasing orders, reference creation, and supplier creation.
• Support the creation of Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines, encompassing Point of Sale Material (POSM) and windows animations.
• Develop reports and presentations, including the design and execution of surveys to measure satisfaction and animation effectiveness.

Your profile

• Degree in Economics or Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential; French is considered a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills and Powerpoint.
