Job summary

Nord Anglia Education in Venice is seeking a creative video editor to support editing and post-production of video content for digital and institutional projects. You will shape structure, pacing, and storytelling from raw footage.

You will work with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut, adapt content for formats, manage color and audio, and contribute to new social formats while staying current with digital trends.

Our Communications Team is looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of rhythm and storytelling to support the editing and post-production of our video content.

What will you do?

• Edit video content for digital, social media, and institutional projects using internally produced footage, archive materials, and external footage.
• Translate creative briefs into engaging edits, shaping structure, pacing, and storytelling throughout the editing process.
• Adapt content for different formats and platforms.
• Handle post-production tasks including color correction, audio cleanup and mixing, and music selection.
• Collaborate on the development of new social media content formats by interpreting trends and evolving editing styles.

We're looking for you if...

• You have professional proficiency in English.
• You can craft a compelling story from raw footage, not just assemble clips.
• You have a strong eye for pacing, editing choices, and attention to detail, as well as a good ear for sound design.
• You are proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• You understand the editing principles behind social media content, including hooks, video length, subtitles, and platform-specific formats.
• You enjoy staying up to date with digital trends and industry developments.
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively within a team.
• You bring a proactive mindset, contributing fresh ideas and solutions.

Nice to have

• Basic videography and photography skills, with the ability to capture footage and photos when needed.
