RINA is recruiting a Venice Marine Senior Surveyor to join its Venice office within the Mediterranean and Africa Marine Division in Italy.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of maritime rules, regulations, and surveying practices. You will inspect classed ships and offshore assets, produce compliant reports, and lead survey activities.

This position also involves mentoring junior surveyors, managing client relationships, and upholding rigorous quality and ethical standards across all surveys.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Naval Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with IACS member Classification Society.
• English and Italian language proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert guidance on maritime classification principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Carry out detailed surveys and inspections of ships and offshore installations.
• Prepare accurate reports and certificates in line with rules.
• Plan surveys, manage resources, and mentor junior surveyors.
• Engage with clients to resolve technical issues and maintain relationships.
