TEXA S.p.A. in Bologna (BO) seeks a Vehicle Dynamics Control Engineer – Lateral & Longitudinal Control to join its team. You will develop control functions for lateral and longitudinal motion across the full development lifecycle in production vehicles.

The role requires hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, ETAS INCA, and ECU calibration, plus a track record of validating dynamics control through on-vehicle testing and integration within the torque management chain.

Competenze

• Proven experience in complete development lifecycle for at least one production vehicle.
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for Model-Based Development (MBD).
• Hands-on experience with ETAS INCA for ECU calibration, parameter tuning, measurement acquisition, on-vehicle validation.

Mansioni

• Define and develop core Vehicle Dynamics functions: EBD, AWD, TV/bTV, TCS/bTCS, DTC, ESP, ABS, Regenerative Braking.
• Support model-based development and validation of control algorithms.
• Integration of functions into the vehicle torque management chain by other team members.

TEXA S.p.A. is looking for a Vehicle Dynamics Control Engineer – Lateral & Longitudinal Control to join its office in Bologna (BO).

The candidate will be responsible for the development of vehicle dynamics control functions for lateral and longitudinal motion, covering the complete development lifecycle from concept definition to pre-tuning on production vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for the definition and development of the following core Vehicle Dynamics functions:

• Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD);
• All-Wheel Drive (AWD);
• Torque Vectoring (TV) / Braking Torque Vectoring (bTV);
• Traction Control System (TCS) / Braking Traction Control System (bTCS);
• Drag Torque Control (DTC);
• Electronic Stability Program (ESP);
• Anti-lock Braking System (ABS);
• Regenerative Braking.

The candidate will also be supported in the Model-Based Development and validation of control algorithms related to the above-mentioned vehicle dynamics functions.

The integration of these functions into the overall vehicle torque management chain will be carried out by other members of the team.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in the complete development lifecycle, from concept definition to pre-tuning, for at least one production vehicle.
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for Model-Based Development (MBD), including:
  • control algorithm modeling;
  • simulation activities;
  • automatic code generation.
• Hands-on experience with ETAS INCA for:
  • ECU calibration;
  • parameter tuning;
  • measurement acquisition;
  • on-vehicle validation and testing.
