Hitachi Rail cerca un Validation Engineer da basare a Genova per far parte del team di certificazione prodotto, lavorando in laboratorio conforme EN 17025 e operando nel sistema di gestione della qualità aziendale.

Il ruolo richiede esperienza in attività di laboratorio, coordinamento test e supporto al miglioramento continuo, con disponibilità a viaggiare in Italia per incarichi brevi e medi.

Competenze

• Conoscenza metrologia applicata a grandezze elettromagnetiche, meccaniche, climatiche ed elettriche.
• Buone competenze informatiche e gestione dati, inclusa calibrazione software.
• Capacità di analizzare risultati di test e redigere relazioni tecniche.

Mansioni

• Eseguire attività di laboratorio e test di certificazione.
• Preparare documentazione di Type Test, piani e procedure di test.
• Verificare la calibrazione e mantenere il sistema di gestione della qualità.
• Collaborare con enti di certificazione e laboratori accreditati ACCREDIA.

The successful candidate will become part of the team specialized in Hitachi Rail's product certification activities, working within a laboratory qualified according to the EN 17025 standard and operating in compliance with the company's quality management system.The role involves laboratory activities, coordination of certification tests, and support for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the laboratory quality management system.ResponsibilitiesPerform Hitachi Rail laboratory activities, including both documentation-related tasks and hands-on testing activities.Prepare Type Test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.Set up test configurations and conduct laboratory testing on products.Coordinate and oversee testing activities carried out at external laboratories accredited by ACCREDIA.Verify and monitor laboratory equipment calibration activities and the related documentation.Support the maintenance and updating of the laboratory Quality Management System.Ensure the correct application of technical standards and metrological methodologies related to the tests performed.Collaborate with certification bodies, customers, and accreditation organizations.Travel for short- and medium-term assignments, mainly within Italy.Required Skills/KnowledgeAbility to use measurement instruments and laboratory equipment.Capability to perform and supervise certification testing activities.Knowledge of technical documentation related to testing and validation activities.Ability to analyze test results and prepare technical reports.Required Skills and KnowledgeGood knowledge of metrology applied to electromagnetic, mechanical, climatic, and electrical quantities.Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and data management/calibration software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.Accuracy, reliability, and quality orientation.Ability to work effectively within a team.Operational autonomy and sense of responsibility.Commitment to continuous professional and technical development.Desidered Skills/KnowledgeExperience in managing testing or calibration laboratories.Familiarity with quality management systems based on EN 17025.Experience coordinating activities with accredited laboratories.Interest in innovation and continuous improvement.Education and QualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.3-5 years of experience in testing or calibration laboratory activities, preferably within ACCREDIA-accredited laboratories.LanguagesGood Italian proficiency.Good knowledge of technical English, both written and spoken.Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
