A leading transport solutions provider is looking for an Urban ATC System Designer based in Italy. This role involves designing ATC systems, collecting customer requirements, and ensuring configurations are ready for testing. Mansioni

• Collect and drive Customer's requests.
• Design ATC system, both trackside and onboard.
• Lead ATC Design Reviews.
• Ensure the ATC configuration is ready for testing.
• Investigate the Verification and Validation (V&V) test failures.
• Investigate events and faults occurring during commercial service.
• Define suitable T&C strategy and follow Baseline deployment.

Conoscenze

Good level of English

Basic knowledge about ATC equipment

Basic knowledge of traffic management principles

Good knowledge of DFQ cycle

Global system view preferably in metro context

Ability to work in team

In the scope of Metro Projects in Milano and Torino, we are looking for an Urban ATC System Designer whose main responsabilities are:

• Collect and drive Customer's requests
• Design ATC system, both trackside and onboard, and provide related documents (specification, architecture, interface, etc.)
• Lead ATC Design Reviews
• Ensure the ATC configuration by application data or coding is performed regarding the process and ready for testing
• Investigate the Verification and Validation (V&V) test failures for corrective actions
• Investigate events and faults occuring during commercial service in order to identify the root cause
• Define the most suitable T&C strategy and follow Baseline deployment on field

The following skills are associated to the profile:

• Good level of English and technical background

• Global system view preferably in metro context

The position could be based in the site of Bologna, Firenze or Roma.
