A leading medical institution in Tuscany is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technician to operate ultrasonic equipment and perform diagnostic examinations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, current certification, and the ability to communicate effectively with the OB/GYN nursing team. Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body’s organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed. Reviews physician requisition orders and instructions concerning patient preparation for ultrasound procedure. May communicate to OB/GYN nursing team status of patient condition pre and post procedure. Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for patients with high-risk indications.
