A leading educational institution in Rome is seeking a Senior Education Manager for its Trauma and Extremities division. This role requires 8-10 years of experience in Medical or Internal Education, primarily within the Med-tech or Pharma industries. The candidate will develop and implement educational programs, ensure compliance with strategic goals, and collaborate with top medical professionals. The position offers flexible remote, hybrid, or onsite options, along with business travel responsibilities.

Competenze

• 8-10 years of Medical or Internal Education, mostly in Med-tech/Pharma.
• Certification in training preferred.
• 4 years in a People Management role preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Develops and executes education plan that is aligned with central European strategy in collaboration with all internal stakeholders including Brand managers and Sales leaders.

Follow up best-in-class learning trends and re-evaluate and continuously improve the learning experience.

Key Activities

• Develop, continuously update and execute internal education programs such as internal courses, online educational platform tools, online courses, etc. and / or external education programs such as sawbones courses, cadaveric courses, online education, etc.
• Develops new customer engagement programs and events supporting our strategic goals and marketing objectives
• Develop and deploy digital tools to facilitate learning
• Development of and ensuring up to date sales training curriculum and material.
• Develop, schedule and communicate a calendar of internal and external education events.
• Document and store internal training participant list for audit purposes.
• Partner with surgeon KOLs to ensure high quality faculty at internal and external education activities.
• Audit selling capability and knowledge base of sales channels regardless of experience and tenure within the company. Build a plan to close the gaps identified
• Allocate and manage the education budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
• Ensures that educational activities across EMEA markets are coordinated and cohesive, helping to drive agreed goals and strategies.
• May have responsibility for clinical research in collaboration with Brand Management
• 40% Business Travel

Qualifications / Tenure

Required

8-10 years of Medical or Internal Education which a significant portion is within Med-tech / Pharma industry.

BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field.

Preferred

4 years in a People Management role

Certification in training

Experience / Skills

Proven experience in Training coordination / Clinical Education Manager role.

Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques.

Understanding of sales process, preferably within relevant medical business.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
