  • Due Diligence: Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis during the due diligence phase, including reviewing corporate documents, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Document Drafting: Assisting in the preparation and revision of core transactional documents, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), and ancillary closing documents.
  • Research & Analysis: Providing focused legal research on complex issues related to corporate law, securities regulation, and specific industry sectors relevant to the deal.
  • Closing Support: Preparing and organizing closing checklists and materials, coordinating signatures, and managing post-closing administrative tasks.
  • Team Support: Attending internal and external team meetings, preparing minutes, and managing transaction data rooms.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Legal Trainee role in the M&A Team, candidates should meet the following essential criteria:

  • Academic Excellence: Final-year law student or recent law graduate from a highly reputable university.
  • Legal Focus: A strong academic background in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, or Financial Markets Law is preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, given the international nature of our transactions. Proficiency in a second major language is a plus.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Work Ethic: Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding professional environment.
  • Team Fit: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team and handle sensitive, confidential information.
What We Offer
  • The opportunity to work on high-profile, complex legal matters with leading experts in the field.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth.
  • Mentorship and training from senior attorneys dedicated to your success.
  • Opportunities for career advancement within the firm.
  • The chance to be part of a truly international law firm, with a diverse clientele from around the world. You will work on cross-border transactions and collaborate with legal professionals from different jurisdictions, gaining unparalleled exposure to international law and business practices.
