The role involves designing stamping tools and managing production launches. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in Italian and English. This position offers the chance to collaborate with international suppliers and travel for project engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design stamping tools for sheet metal components using CAD software, ensuring process feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct simulations of stamping processes (e.g., deep drawing, bending) using FEM tools to validate tool performance and prevent defects.
• Manage sampling activities, coordinating tool trials, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions.
• Support production launch, providing technical assistance, resolving tooling issues, and updating documentation based on feedback.
• Collaborate with suppliers, overseeing tool manufacturing, ensuring compliance with specifications, and managing technical communication.
• Participate in technical project meetings, sharing progress, addressing challenges, and aligning with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering fields; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Tool design.
• Language Skills: Professional-level proficiency in Italian and English.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in Mechanical Engineering, Metal stamping and forming, Tools simulation.
• Travel Availability: Willingness to travel internationally on spot to engage with customers and international suppliers.
