Mott MacDonald Italy/UK is seeking a Mechanical/Process Engineer with experience in combined cycles to join our detail design team and grow toward a lead role over time. You will work closely with civil, mechanical, EC&I and environmental teams, supporting proposals and project delivery while collaborating with global offices and clients.

The role involves international travel and a focus on energy transition projects.

Competenze

• MSc in Mechanical or Process Engineering and experience in thermal power plant design and project implementation, preferably covering proposal through to implementation and performance testing.
• Experience on international projects and in international environments.
• Excellent oral and communication skills, with proficiency in English.

Mansioni

• Support project delivery and contribute to proposals for combined cycle projects, simple cycle gas turbines, hydrogen, CCUS and energy transition.
• Support the process engineering team in delivering detailed design services.
• Work on projects delivering consultancy and Owner’s Engineering services.
• Collaborate with other Mott MacDonald offices on project delivery and proposals.
• Travel abroad to meet clients during project delivery and proposal stages.
• Deliver work to schedule across feasibility, planning, tender drawings, construction drawings and design compliance monitoring.
