Stevanato Group cerca un Test Engineer per supportare attività di testing di materiali, contenimento e dispositivi medici presso il TEC di Piombino Dese (PD). Laurea magistrale in ingegneria o scienze correlate e esperienza in laboratorio pharma costituiscono requisiti chiave.

Competenze

• Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria, Scienze dei Materiali, Fisica o campo scientifico affine.
• Esperienza in ambienti di laboratorio o testing, preferibilmente in pharma/medical devices/packaging.
• Conoscenza di scienza dei materiali e principi meccanici, interesse per vetro, plastica e gomma.
• Familiarità con metodi e strumenti di testing di laboratorio.
• Conoscenza di analisi dati e principi di reporting scientifico.
• Buone capacità di italiano e inglese.

Mansioni

• Supportare l’esecuzione di attività di testing sperimentale in laboratorio.
• Eseguire test meccanici, fisici e analitici sotto guida di senior.
• Contribuire allo sviluppo, all’ottimizzazione e alla validazione di metodi di test.
• Raccogliere, analizzare e organizzare i dati di test, contribuendo a report tecnici.
• Supportare la calibrazione, la manutenzione e il corretto funzionamento delle attrezzature di laboratorio.
• Partecipare a test ambientali, di stress e di accelerazione (es. stability).
• Contribuire a indagini di causa radice e troubleshooting.
• Contribuire alla caratterizzazione di Container Closure Systems e Drug Delivery Systems.

Stevanato Group is one of the world's largest providers of integrated containment and delivery solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. To strengthen our growth in the Drug Containment Solutions BU (DCS), we are looking for a results-driven Test Engineer to join our Technology Excellence Center (TEC) team based in Piombino Dese (PD). The role will focus on mechanical, functional and analytical testing of materials, drug containment solutions and delivery devices in regulated environments.

You will:

• Support the execution of experimental testing activities in laboratory environments
• Perform mechanical, physical and analytical testing under the guidance of senior team members
• Assist in the development, optimization and validation of test methods
• Collect, analyze and organize test data, contributing to technical reports and presentations
• Support the calibration, maintenance and proper functioning of laboratory equipment
• Participate in environmental, stress and accelerated testing activities (e.g. stability and shelf-life studies)
• Contribute to troubleshooting activities and root cause investigations
• Support the characterization of Container Closure Systems (integrity, functionality, forces, resistance) and Drug Delivery Systems & Medical Devices (e.g. pens, autoinjectors) through performance and reliability testing

What We Are Looking For

• Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related scientific fields
• Some experience in laboratory or testing environments, preferably within pharma, medical devices, packaging or related industries
• Academic or practical knowledge of materials science and mechanical principles, with interest in glass, plastics and rubber materials
• Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment
• Basic knowledge of analytical techniques such as mechanical testing, microscopy or material characterization
• Understanding of data analysis and scientific reporting principles
• Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of Minitab, Origin and MS Office is considered a plus
• Exposure to simulation tools (e.g. Ansys) or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
• Full proficiency in Italian and English

For this role, the expected compensation range starts from € 28,000. The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including geographic location, professional experience, education, and skill level.
