TXT E-Tech S.r.l., part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Test Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defence division. An essential aspect of this role is participation in Software Integration, Verification and Validation activities for safety‑critical avionics systems in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The resource will be trained as a Test Engineer and will be involved in developing tests and automation to ensure compliance with aeronautical certification standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and execution of integration/unit test cases for safety‑critical embedded systems;
• Development of automated test sequences (using C/C++ or Simulink);
• Participation in integration activities;
• Preparation of technical documentation;
• Analysis of flight and rig test results for aircraft certification.

Required skills

• Avionic system working principle knowledge.

Optional Technical Skills

• Knowledge of at least one structured programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Python, Visual Basic, Ada95 or similar);
• Experience with embedded real‑time systems.

Additional Requirements

Strong ability to tackle complex systems in a structured way, flexibility and adaptability, team‑working attitude, good knowledge of English, and interest in software development.

Required Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or computer engineering/computer science.
