Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Representative to support fibre optic data centre projects in Milan and across Europe.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in commissioning, installation, maintenance, and repair of fibre optic networks — essential to high-speed data transmission and modern communication infrastructure. You’ll help ensure network reliability, quality, and performance for mission‑critical clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Lead and support cross‑functional teams (engineers, technicians, subcontractors).
• Promote clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement of all required materials and tools.
• Ensure resources are deployed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain adherence to industry standards and company best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality outcomes.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.
• Provide timely progress reports and project updates.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, technical reports, and handover files.
• Ensure all records are well‑organised and audit‑ready.
• Leadership – Ability to motivate teams and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
• Communication – Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
• Problem‑Solving – Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.

• Languages – Fluent Italian and strong English required; additional European languages are an advantage.

Education & Qualifications

• Applicants should hold one of the following recognised qualifications:
• A Master’s Degree (Laurea quinquennale) in Engineering, Architecture, or Physics (current university regulations).
• A University Diploma (Diploma universitario) in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering (previous regulations).
• A Bachelor’s Degree (Laurea triennale) in Information Engineering (Degree Class 09 under DM 509/1999 or Class L8 under DM 270/2004).
